1. Stored Data

Website Users & Editors

The website may hold onto any willingly provided information, most notably: the data provided in logging in process.
For Editors and Contributors of the Verse Wiki, the website may hold onto the Discord User Id if you are detected to be a staff member with access.
Moreover, each wikipedia entry may hold onto your username if you have made contributions to it.

Verse Affiliates

Any information provided during the affiliation process conducted in the SCP Verse server may be displayed in the Affiliates tab for granting our affiliates additional exposure.
As it currently stands, the website displays publicly available information from the Roblox group page (logo, name, member count) while adding a Discord server invite link.

Alleged Wrongdoers (Verse Records)

Any alleged wrongdoers reported to us may be displayed on this website, always with appropriate evidence of the alleged wrongdoings.
All entries are appealable through our Discord server, link to which can also be found on our website.


2. User Rights

Wiki Contributors

You may request through the Verse Discord server to be made anonymous in any/all entries you have made contributions to.
If you believe you made or did not make contributions to a certain wiki entry, you may request corrections to be made.

Verse Affiliates

As an SCP Verse affiliate, you are more than welcome to communicate your thoughts on how we should process specific affiliate data.
We will make sure to try and include your feedback.

Alleged Wrongdoers

Any Verse Record may be contensted, inquired about or asked to be corrected.
Through our Discord server, you may appeal (either by debunking the alleged claims OR proving your change) your case or inquire about it.
We reserve the right to keep the information if the evidence held against you cannot be disproven or reasoned against.

3. Usage of Data

Data obtained during SCP Verse operations (tickets in the Discord server) is used primarily for display of said data on the website.
Alleged wrongdoer data may be available in the future in the form of API to strengthen cooperation in the genre.
Data provided by the user to the website (login callback) is used for presenting your login status and allowing access to editting sections if you are classed as an editor for the SCP Wikipedia.

4. Data Retention

Most data is kept indefinitely. Data can be deleted if:

  • Record is successfully proven to contain malice or false information/evidence (Verse Records)
  • Affiliation is officially ceased with a faction (Affiliations)
  • Login callback is automatically deleted as browser is closed (Logging in via Discord's oauth).
  • Staff member (including SCP Wiki Editors) resigns or ends up being removed.
  • User requests anonymity (SCP Wikipedia Contributions).

5. Data Security

All data is stored securely in our database.
Most information, especially from Verse Records and Affiliates pages, happen to be easily gatherable from Roblox and Discord platforms.

6. Storing of Information

Website and Verse services may store the following information in secure database(s):

  • Roblox and Discord Ids (Verse Records)

7. Policy Changes

Policy is expected to change as the SCP Verse continues to bring new services for the SCP genre of Roblox.
Continued use after policy changes are announced mean user's agreement to the policy.

8. Contact

Any inquiries are expected to be forwarded through our Discord server's ticket system.
Attempting to reach individual staff of the SCP Verse without having an active ticket regarding your matter may result if your inquiry not being responded to through Direct Messages.
